I was asked to plan, host and decorate a Las Vegas Themed 30th Birthday Party within two months time for my sister who lives out of state.
I was so excited and so many ideas were running through my head. Anyone who knows me knows I love to plan a great event.
The firs thing on the agenda was to find an available venue so after much consideration and little time my sister settled on the Detroit Historical Museum here in Detroit, MI.
The area that was chose was the streets of old Detroit which is on the lower level of the museum.
After securing the venue the search was on for an Elvis and another impersonator and a Michael Jackson. I also began to work on the centerpieces, invitations and party favors.
Guests were exclusively invited to this event with custom designed VIP pass Invitations.
As the search began for Mike and Elvis I felt like a talent scout looking for just the right people. Although we only wanted them there for photo opportunities with the guest they had to look just like Elvis and Michael. It took some time but I found the right people. The Michael Jackson impersonator is Michael Cole and he did a phenomenal job, he performed to a few of Micheal's Hit songs and blew the minds of the guests. Elvis whose name is Fred Wolfe mingled with the guest and had an all around fun personality. Just meeting the two of them you would of thought you were meeting the real Mike and Elvis.

And what's Vegas without Gambling??
There was roulette, blackjack, poker and craps. Guests played with real chips, no real cash was exchanged.
