#Wedding Wednesday TIP: How to address and /or read an envelope if you are inviting or being invited to a party or wedding.
1.) If you are inviting a single person and they can bring a guest you will address the envelope to John S and Guest.
2.) If you are inviting a couple who is married then you will address it to Mr and Mrs Smith. If they are single and you know their names then it will be Mr Smith and Ms Jones.
3.) If you are inviting the Smith family then you will address the envelope to Mr and Mrs Smith and Family or The Smith Family.
4.) If you are inviting a single person and they are not allowed to bring a guest you will address the envelope to Mr or Ms Smith or John Smith or Jane Smith.
These are the basics for addressing an envelope.
