Bon Jour! Paris Themed Sweet Table

I didn’t take a long flight to relish the beauty and elegance of Paris, I simply integrated the beloved iconic pieces from the most romantic city in the world into this party hosted in my favorite city — Detroit.
This Parisian Themed Sweet Table is styled for versatility and ease whether you are hosting a birthday party, baby or bridal shower. There was so much to love about this celebration but the main focal point is the Eiffel Tower backdrop that features the historic Eiffel Tower and the guest of honor’s name and age in vinyl.
This sweet table was styled for 20 guests. But keep your eye out for my favorites:

A traditional pink, black and white color scheme was chosen. It’s soft, feminine and elegant all at the same time. The choice was befitting of the guest of honor.
Romance, bling and roses are synonymous so dressing the table was effortless. The pink rosette runners added pop to the black table cloth while the creamy silk roses served as an unpretentious accent next to the birthday cake with its bling border, the faux tufted top tier with its handmade Eiffel Tower that screams “ooh la la.”
Tip: Spread the color around
Don’t be afraid to play with your food. Use your color scheme all over your sweets or dessert table. Just keep each side of the table balanced – a little here and a little there.
Pastry shops are an icon as the Eiffel Tower and this sweet table wouldn’t have been complete without some sugar cookies and a bit of chocolate – namely pink, chocolate covered strawberries.
Tip: Detail, detail, details
When accenting your tables, pick one detail and repeat. Ours was the Eiffel Tower. We had them added to the cookies and we made small versions to adorn the vases and mini wine glasses filled with candy.

Keep things simple but fabulous. Like the bling tongs seen on the cookie platter and gumball bowl.
Finally, the backdrop. I had so much fun creating this step and repeat backdrop. More vinyl Eiffel Towers in black on a pink backdrop with touches of white. Elegance at its best.
